Residential

Malibu Residence Renderings | 2016

Using the architect's construction documents, Google Earth, SketchUp Pro, SU Podium V2, and Photoshop (for touch-ups) I created exterior renderings of what the client's proposed home would look like in that exact location.

Redondo Beach Studio Makeover | 2015

I used SketchUp Pro and V-Ray for this rendering.

I turned a very bland, boring-looking space into a spacious, old-Hollywood type of space for an independent woman who freelances from home - usually at night when she has time to focus.

(actual 'before' and 'after' photos, and another rendering of this space coming soon...)

Splendid Store Renderings | 2013

As a freelance illustrator for Splendid, I took photos and measurements of the store (Robertson Blvd. location), created a 3D model in SketchUp, rendered using SU Podium, and made touch-ups in Photoshop. The purpose was to show what the store would look like with their new shelving displays known as "uppers".

Ronald McDonald House Remodel | 2012

Inspired by Aloft Hotels, the space plan & decor mimic that of an urban-influenced, modern hotel, including a centralized reception desk upon entry, as well as an open lobby/living room to encourage social activity. Three types of standard bedrooms are designed to accommodate families, no matter the size. This design will allow guests to feel as though they are staying in a trendy, yet laid-back hotel on vacation. By Including open, collaborative spaces with internet access, board games and even fireplaces, guests feel more comfortable, as if they are in their own home. I plan on incorporating these areas into the Ronald McDonald House to give families this same type of feeling; a comfortable balance between what they know and do in their daily routines, to feeling as though they are "escaping" the realities they are currently dealing with, in order to get a more uplifting and positive outlook and mindset, even if it's just for the time being.

Hospitality

Boutique Hotel Remodel | 2012

In this proposal, functionality and flexibility are key elements. Minimalism and an open-plan lobby create a sense of professionalism, drawing in business travelers. White reflective surfaces allow light to travel throughout the space evenly. A subtle palette of neutrals and wood tones makes guests feel comfortable and relaxed, while pops of robin egg blue, accompanied by hints of light olive green, add interest and life to the space. Fertility Clinic | 2011

"Zenful Reproductive Center for Women" is a 10,000 sq. ft. fertility clinic I personally designed from scratch. Given only the exterior shell of the building, I did extensive research to create a peaceful, code-abiding, efficient design.
